Yes! my uncle has just bequeathed his old classical guitar to me after learning that i had the slightest interest in playing it. Apparently it had been rotting in his storeroom after he had given up on learning how to play it years ago. i really think i should change the strings but i have no idea how...

There are just some songs that a few listens before they begin to grow on you and then it starts repeating itself in your head until you get tired of me again. "How to save a life" by The Fray is one of them. The band didn't make it big until the music supervisor for "Grey's Anatomy" heard them in Los Angeles and fell in love with their song. It eventually became the series unofficial theme and it is the fourth best-selling song on iTunes. The power of marketing.

In case anybody is unsure of what the song is about, it was influenced by Slade's(singer/pianist) experience working as a mentor at a camp for troubled teens. However, the band feels that the song is open to interpretation and set up a website so fans can submit music videos they made for the song.

The fireworks at the marina area were amazing. especially if you had a ground-zero look at it, courtesy of your very generous aunt who booked a tourist boat so we could celebrate the new year in style. pity that champagne was lacking. there were several new designs, my favourite was the one with the lingering trails which gracefully fell back down after the burst.
