Sunday, January 07, 2007 I feel a little confused right now. I dont really know when the thought came into my head but I juz realised that I dont really want to be an engineer. It was an incredibly stupid decision on my part to apply for chemical engineering when i didnt even have the slightest shred of interest in it. I kind of wonder why i did triple science in jc for actually. maybe it was cos i wanted to get into the medical field at first. but since i was rejected so there. to be honest i have always preferred art subjects to science... nvm now must think properly and decide. the period for change of course in NUS is in the Feb month so considering all options now..mainly i am leaning towards law cos of the work environment and all. i am not definitely not the type for court work. would like to do corporate law. need some time to get some info on it. i wonder if i will get in. cos i have no background and all in it.(and never actually read anything abt it until like a couple of days ago.) getting law and econs would be a dream come true. (haha) the intake is like 22... nvm if i get in there's application during the first and second year. Too bad singapore tertiary institutes dont offer finance as a degree. i would jump at it. just taking econs in uni would lead to rather dismal job prospects. m thinking of accounting too. anything to get away from physics goddamn it. on a lighter note, i saw the requirements for a bartender in the career guide. "certificate in F&B Ops, O levels with some work experience." sounds interesting :) |
