Tuesday, February 20, 2007 Ah Chinese New Year again. My family in Singapore is rather small so my visiting is done in a day leaving me free for the rest of the hols! Pity that i only have 2 cousins and no one else in the whole family gambles. No blackjack, no mahjong, no dai ti, not even bloody in-between. I feel like i am missing out on all the fun... Second year in a row visiting Clement's house now, should definitely let them come over next time instead haha.One of my favourite cycling routes: jurong east - west coast park - turn north - NUS - turn right - Clementi Town Sec School - ACS(I) - Buona Vista MRT - JE again. takes abt 2 hrs and i love the stretch from Clementi Town Sec School to ACS(I), via the back of Sing Poly. i kinda like the see ACS again even though i havent really gone back very often haha. John Tucker Must Die is a very entertaining show. Despite it being a brainless chick flick and its targeted audience hormonal teens, it was a very enjoyable two hours. 3 girls find out they are being triple-timed by John Tucker decide to get their revenge by using Kate, a "invisible" girl to break John Tucker's heart. The plot is predictable but produces the laughs and ends with a feel-good ending. Those who have watched Mean Girls will find the movie in the same vein. Which isnt really a bad thing cos I loved Mean Girls too :) I may be a little biased here, considering personal prejudices but seriously, how many fucking times do you see bike riders get killed because of some other muthafuckers fault! Not all are bad. But many deserve to have a very large and hard object shoved forcefully up their arse and held there for a very long time. I have lost count of the no. of times when we were doing public road riding and some joker cab cuts into my lane to drop/pick up a passenger, leaving me to curse and swear. The reasoning to them is very simple. I am in a car, you are in a bike. I am a taxi driver, you are a noob bike rider. For killing a person(not exactly unintentionally), the max you get is imprisonment up to 2 years!?
