Saturday, February 10, 2007 Nasty things have a bad habit of sneaking up on you. Be thankful for what you have got.Bike riding is fun, especially on those long stretches of road like the one from the zoo to Yishun dam. You can go at 80/90 but it doesnt really feel like speeding cos every other vehicle on the road is just whizzing past you. Bike training makes me feel the urge to get a bike licence. On the other hand, there was a recent accident in which a unlucky dude on a bike was killed by a negligent driver. I guess it's nothing new, motorcyclists have a rather high chance of getting involved in a road accident, except that the accident happened at where I used to stay. Somehow, it makes it so much worse. I had a great time on friday night when odac came together to celebrate Dhane's really really belated birthday! It has been ages since we last met, except for the poor buggers in 42 of course! Time doesnt really flow smoothly. In the army, when we are bogged down by mundane and extremely unnecessary tasks, it slows down and practically congeals. Then when you meet up with friends on the "outside", you realize how far you are from them. Like how the paths have diverged and things just aren't the same anymore. |
