Thursday, June 21, 2007 As of this week, I hereby declare myself free of the dota virus. I know it sounds terribly corny but for quite a long period of time I was playing dota rather regularly and it kinda ate up the little time I had left on weekends. After much deliberation, I had uninstalled FT from my computer, to go "cold turkey" in a way.(lanning doesnt count) There were a few occasions when I was bored and just wanted a game but the trouble of having to download a gazillion patches and applications just to play dota again convinced me that it just wasnt worth my while. (Zion, euro-battlenet, Cute-worm patches to update my FT version since it is a copy, to name a few) I was rather busy the entire month too so I guess it helped me kick the bad habit. Still, I cant help wondering how do the 6 new heroes in the new version play like... |
