Sunday, July 29, 2007 Games For Non GamersI wonder if anyone could have forseen the state of the gaming industry nowadays. Amid all the buzz about the upcoming release of Halo 3, Microsoft revealed its new controller aimed at casual gamers, the Big Button Gamepad(what kind of a name is that?!). The new device is designed for the movie trivia game Scene It! Since when has Microsoft gone for the casual gamers? The Xbox community has always been for the real gamers. Not like Nintendo with its DS and Wii who had always been tilted in favour of casual/non-gamers. It seems though that Nintendo has won this round. The Wii is selling faster than both the 360 and PS3 despite having weaker specifications. Furthermore, it is the only console of the 3 which is actually sold at a profit! |
